We want you to have an optimal experience the first time you come to NCNM. Please read through this page so you know what to expect and how to maximize your time here.

Before Your Visit

You will receive an invite to NCNM's online Patient Portal. Once logged into the patient portal, please fill out appropriate questionnaires before your appointment time.

If possible, fill these out at least 24 hours before your appointment so that your doctor has time to review them. That way, we can get right to the important business of getting you feeling better.

What To Bring

NCNM asks that you bring an insurance card, if you have one, to your first appointment along with any recent labs or imaging reports.

Insurance Benefits & Payments

Please call your insurance company and understand your unique benefits. When you ask about coverage for your chosen naturopathic doctor, you know what to expect when we bill your insurance company for you. Our doctors are contracted with many insurance companies and may be in-network providers for you. It is up to you to know your benefits, coverage and copay before you schedule your first office visit with us.

NCNM strives to be affordable for all people. For private pay folks, we give a 20% discount to payments made on the same day as your visit.

Patients can choose to be billed and we offer affordable payment plans for special circumstances.

Accepted payments are cash, check and all major credit cards. Cash and check are preferred because it keeps our local dollars working here at home.

First In-Office Visit

If you haven't already filled out your intake paperwork online, please check-in at the NCNM reception desk 30 minutes in advance to fill out paperwork and present any insurance information.
You will be escorted to an exam room and spend 1 hour with a NCNM physician discussing your medical history and health goals.
The physician will review or order labs, imaging or other testing and perform necessary physical exams. Patients and doctors will work together on a treatment plan that is compatible with the realities of budget and lifestyle.



Patients will be escorted back to the reception desk where they will schedule follow-up appointments, make co-payments and billing arrangements and get access to their recommended medicines from our dispensary

Phone Consultations

Phone consultations can be scheduled for patients who have had an in-office visit. For scheduling, please follow the same guidelines mentioned above.

Distant Phone Consultations

For people located out of the region, you can schedule a phone or video consultation.
